It's been quite a long time coming, but today was our Mum's funeral, and what a very nice day it was, a real celebration of her life.  The service was lovely, with just enough humour to prevent us bawling our eyes out, and the gathering at the croquet club afterwards provided a welcome and tasty sandwich lunch.  There was a slideshow to watch and a jigsaw on the table in the corner just asking to be completed.

Mum liked daffodils, we often used to get her a bunch for Mothers' Day - which is nearly upon us after all - and so there were daffs set around the room.  There was no point in wasting them, so quite a few of us took a bunch home afterwards :-)
