Monster

Our attention was drawn to this monster caterpillar by the interest being shown by Bluebell our cat to something behind the water butt.

I'm not very fond of grubs etc but this really was a monster, about two and a half inches long and half an inch wide. Here it is where we first saw it Elephant Hawk

Chris looked it up on the computer which identified it as the caterpillar of an Elephant Hawk Moth and it said they liked Fuchsias. So here it is re-housed hopefully out of harms, and Bluebells way!
