Loch Tummel & Schiehallion

This is more like it:-)  What a gloriously sunny day, so we had an early lunch and headed north via the back roads.  First stop Pitlochry or it would have been if it hadn't been heaving with tourists!  

Planned to stop for a coffee at The Watermill in Blair Atholl, but it was closed, so drove on to House of Bruar.  This was also busy, but we decided to have a coffee and a scone.  However, when I saw that the scone on its own cost £1.75, with jam 90p extra, I put the tray down and left in disgust!  I hate being ripped off!!

We continued through Killiecrankie, Loch Tummel (with views of "my" Munro!) and round in a big loop to Aberfeldy, where we eventually had a delicious coffee at The Watermill there, before heading for home via Dunkeld.  A really lovely day in beautiful Spring sunshine.
