The Point of a Garden ....

... is to enjoy it, so that's what I did today:-)  A second beautiful sunny day and together with the fact that it is Mother's Day it was inevitable that everywhere would be really busy.  So instead of joining the crowds, I sat in the garden and read the Sunday papers and did the crossword.

TJ was happily occupied sorting out his garden shed and cutting the grass for the first time this year, so a good day was had by both of us.  He is now cooking the Sunday roast as a treat for me, so I have been thoroughly spoiled.  Beautiful flowers from my daughter arrived yesterday and are shown in the Extras.
