Wild Strawberries

Left the house at 8 am and back home about 3 pm. It was a beautiful day to be out on an ATV.

While we were out we saw 4 wild turkeys, lots of killdeer and cormorants and some turtles.

Kept seeing these tiny white flowers and finally I asked Kent to stop so I could take a picture of one. Turns out when I got close enough that it was wild strawberry. They were everywhere. The birds are going to have a field day once the berries come out and ripen.

It's been a long but very pleasant day for me. I will be in bed very shortly. Hope you all had a day at least half as good as mine.
