Cwmnofydd Farm Sunset

It's Mothering Sunday and the blipfoto extra shows Mrs BB with one of the bunches of flowers she has that son, Nathan, had bought from the florist yesterday. Besides that suprise he informed us that his girlfriend, from Guildford, is expecting. He moves there in May to live with her and start a new job as a HGV techniciam. We're thrilled with the news as she's a lovely girl and has 'calmed' him down as he was always the wild one of the five. The oldest daughter is expecting in September, so by the end of the year we'll have 4 grandkids! Time for another holiday :)

Whilst Mrs BB went for her 1.5 mile swim late this evening, I went out for a walk in the local countryside. The blipfoto shows the sun going down over a farmer friend, Owen's garden, on Rhyd-Y-Gwern Lane. It's  lovely old farm that a quiet country lane passes between his and parents farmhouses opposite each other.

I like the way the split in his tree has trapped the descending sun as it sets.

Both the photo's were very difficult exposures shooting against the sun but luckily they've come out well to record another lovely day.
