The House of Falkland.

Built in the 1840s in Elizabethan style and tucked into the woodlands behind the village of Falkland is a magnificent stone building seen here from the hills behind. It is only occasionally open to the public but I am told it has some beautiful interiors as well.

This building was formerly the estate house and now owned by the Falkland Heritage Trust. It is currently leased out as a residential school to 'Falkland House School' for boys with emotional, social and behavioural problems.
