It's All Come out Smelling of Roses

The heady scent of my beautiful Mother's Day lilies hangs heavy in the air of
the dining room, whilst in the sitting room, my freesias try to compete. They are my two favourite flowers and my daughters know that.

Peace has been restored to the Dower House after the misjudgement of His Lordship on Mothering Sunday yesterday, and indeed fate played her hand by organising such a back log of traffic on the way to the Forth Bridge, that the mission was never completed and the flowers are now back home with us.
Never underestimate the superhuman powers of a wronged woman.

We went to the printers today to collect my latest Blipfoto book and possibly the last one, as HL has officially thrown in the towel as type setter. It happens to be the 2015 book as it was left to last after the agonies of 2014 and 2016 ones.

It would be so good if some IT guru amongst us could come up with the software to transform our daily postings easily, without the tedious effort involved in putting each entry into the correct format day by day.

With the weather staying warm and sunny there was a bit of sitting outside in the sun again. Good weather often does happen around Easter time in these northern airts. I remember when we lived in Glasgow many moons ago, son # 1 running about the garden in the Easter holidays in the scud, exposing his chicken pox spots to the healing effect of the sun.
