Sunset

As the weather forecast was good we decided to go up north, and get a couple of days hillwalking. We left in the morning and went up Meall na Leitreach above Dalnaspidel. It’s a very easy and short day so that filled up the afternoon nicely. The extra is a panorama of the view from the northern slopes towards the Drumochter Pass, with the Sow of Atholl the hill on the left. There wasn’t a great deal of snow, and the warmer weather was melting it off the south and west facing slopes. This would usually have been the blip. But as we drove from Aviemore down to Glen Feshie the sunset really developed, so the blip is of the colours and clouds over the Monadhliaths.
