Summer

It was really too good weather today, well for photography anyway. Clear blue skies and minimal cloud don’t get me that excited for blipping. However, for walking it was just about perfect as it wasn’t too warm. We went up the Corbetts of Leathad an Taobhain and Carn Dearg Mor near Glen Feshie, We cycled nearly 11 Kms up the west of the glen to beyond the lodge before leaving our bikes and using a beautifully constructed state road to get to the former and back again. The extra is of Ben Alder on the left (our last Munro), and the Geal Charn massif on the right, taken from the top of the hill. There looks a lot of snow, but it’s only the east aspects that are holing a reasonable amount and it’s quite sparse for late March. The main blip is Creag Meaghaidh from Carn Dearg Mor as the light got marginally better in the late afternoon. We walked 22 Kms in total and then had a rapid return down the glen on our bikes to finish off the day.
