Roadside Color CMC17-Day 29

Ok Ok. I will now concede that Spring is really here. The wild violets are blooming gloriously and covering the ditch bank bordering the road. They are small but enmass , they carpet the hill and range in color from white, to pale violet, to deep purple and almost blue. I have always loved them. Years ago, I picked and sugared them to decorate cupcakes. They are edible and so pretty.
