Not what I expected to see when I walked at the estuary this evening. I had hoped for a heron in a pool but not a bird to be seen or heard. So a tired, worn, dirty looking basket fungi instead.

It has been a lovely day. I got very warm gardening.

Trev and I had a win over a computer repair company (not local) we had used 12 months ago when our ipads froze.They fixed the problem which was an Apple one as it turned out. We agreed to a 12month plan as part of the deal whereby we could go back to them again and again if necessary. We were never told or sent an agreement so were most surprised to get a phone call to say that because we hadn't let them know we would automatically be invoiced for another 12 months. Fortunately we had paid via PayPal so they didn't have our credit card number. After much thought and some worrying we emailed them asking for a copy of the account and agreement. They came back saying their terms and conditions were on line. On looking at the Renewal policy it said they had to give us 30 days notice by email. We had had a ring and an invoice sent the same day. When we pointed out we had had no email and we wanted to cancel they said fine and that was that. So a good win but weird as well. Why did they ring? A very hard to understand gentleman so I still feel something dodgy although it seemed from the research I did it is a legitimate business in NZ and Australia. DotNet. Beware of them.
