What a drizzly day! Pepper and I finally braved the weather this afternoon and got quite muddy from splashing along through the fields.
As we neared home, the rain let up enough to have a look at the garden.
Why is it that so many spring flowers nod their heads down so we can only see them by lying in the mud?
This hellebore is just tall enough o get the smart phone under for a blind shot, and this one is reasonable. This is the second year of flowering for this plant and I am pleased with its progress, and love it's double petals.
