I recognise that face!

Rumour has it that the small pond in Queens Park is going to be cleaned out. Most of the water has been drained down into the large pond leaving vast amounts of mud and a few inches of water. Somebody has removed the frogs' spawn and, I hope, placed it in a suitable place for the tadpoles to hatch.

Walking round the large pond with the dogs, as I do every Thursday morning, I spotted this frog at the edge of the water. After posing for one photograph he slithered down among the water weeds.
