Off the beaten track.

We decided this morning to go for a drive up the valleys. We drove up to The Bwlch, and back down  to through the  Afan Valley. We had to take a detour in Blaengwynfi   as the road was closed, and went   down roads we never knew existed. . When we got back to the main road, we turned off, to visit an old railway station, called The Refreshment rooms at Cymmer.  Again , it was a first for us, and we went in and ordered coffee, and a cheese & onion baguette. The people were so friendly, and welcoming, and we will definitely be going back. J started talking to a guy , so I went off for a walk as far as the viaduct.. He was still talking when I got back! We then drove back down the valley, through Port Talbot, and home. It was a very enjoyable trip.
