Day 25: Perky Percher

Prettier plumage patterns above the pots in large.

I've seen the wren a few times in the garden, but was v. surprised when I managed to sneak up on it today. It was busy poking about in the undergrowth under the Viburnum. I managed to get pretty close before it noticed, and then it hopped off through the bushflowerbed, and around the shed, before perching above these pots and flying away.

I was also pleased with some of my other insect pictures today:
Hoverfly in the heart of a Magnolia bloom
Mining bee on Viburnum
Climbing ashy mining bee
All of my photos can be seen on Flickr (right from here).
