Railway steps - to no where

These are the long abandoned railway steps in the Belair Park. The trains used to stop in the park at a special platform, but the line was closed down in the early '90s. The platform was then removed, and these steps now lead no where in particular, towards the top of a steep ridge. We checked them out and the track to the old railway siding is now almost totally overgrown.
