Transformed

Everything is transformed by sunlight. The woods and hills are beautiful whatever the weather, but a good chunk of bright blue sky fairly cheers up the prospect.  This is the view from the start of the very lowest walk in Kilmun Arboretum; the A880 is visible below, and the high tide water in the Holy Loch filling up the end of the River Eachaig where it enters the loch.

The foreground is still filled by the tangle of last year's bracken, but there is a definite greening visible in some of the trees even though many are still starkly bare.

A good hike - my legs are still complaining!
