A relaxing hour

I knew we would be meeting friends at lunchtime so I went out early and being Sunday it was nice and  quiet   -  very peaceful in fact.  Although Bullfinch are one of the birds I see quite a lot, I'm always stuck by their sometimes startling beauty and plump little bodies.  They often come into the hide a few at a time and survey the scene from high in the treetops before coming in properly to see what's on offer food wise.  This was a shot I took as they were just arriving.
