No time to stop

Out again with the walking group this morning - this time down to Farlington Marshes, on the coast at the top of Portsmouth. The weather was glorious again, with a salty tang in the breeze. I decided I like taking photos of benches - I'm not really sure why - they just appeal to me - and this one was no exception.

Back home I carried on the good work, after stopping for some lunch, by giving the lawn it's first cut of the year. It's always a bit rough the first time - as it's usually much longer than usual. I thought grass wasn't supposed to grow during the winter? I think I know how I'm going to be spending my free Sunday afternoons this summer!
