Allotments with a view

Back to the DIY today.  I had quite a relaxed start though, as Tim did a couple of jobs by himself to start with, then went to take his bike in to get it fixed again (he'd already had his derailleur replaced, but turns out he needed the cassette replaced too).  I did a little bit of painting while he was out, then when he came back, we did a rather faffy but ultimately pleasing job - fitting some trim around the edges of the shower wall.  We've now managed to cover up a mistake we made previously ;)  

Tim had to go back down to the bike shop just after lunch, so we called it a day at that point, and then went for a bike ride together in the afternoon.  Tim showed me the first half of his ride to work (he's been gradually extending it by taking in more and more little - quieter - side roads), which was lovely.  He'd told me before about this fantastically situated allotments, so we stopped for me to get a couple of photos.

Had a nice relaxed afternoon and evening after that.  Lovely weekend!
