The day the Earth Caught Fire

Well it was almost a sunset. Up Oldham to catch the sun setting over Oldham Town and Manchester. This shot was taken just before the sun set casting an orange glow over the sky. An orange filter was used to enhance the sunset as it was a very hazy day.

The title for the blip was from a film from the 1960's here is the trailer:
The Day the Earth Caught Fire (Trailer) its a british film and was made on location in London and Brighton. The opening to the film used an orange filter to symbolise the heat.
