Last day in Sri Lanka

It's my last full day in Sri Lanka. I got the bus from Colombo to Negombo which is closer to the airport. I turned up at the bus station and the person at the information desk pointed me to an air-conditioned bus - the first one I've been on in Sri Lanka! I think AC buses run overnight and on specific routes like this one or to the airport. I got the last seat and it left within minutes.

Negombo is on the coast. I was at the guesthouse doing some logistics planning for the next stage of my trip when I realised what the time was and rushed to the beach to catch sunset. There were some Sri Lankan families enjoying a dip in the sea.
