Back Lit Berberis

For the first time this year I got home and was able to spend a few minutes sitting in the sunshine in our garden.  This is a special time of year as new growth is everywhere and the long winter period becomes a distant memory.  As I get older the season's seem to fly by so I want to make as much effort as possible to enjoy the summer months.

Our garden is east facing so we only get sunshine in the evenings when the sun is high enough in the sky, or when it comes through the gap between the houses.  We have a bench strategically placed to take advantage of that light, which also back lit our berberis bush and provided tonight's subject.
