Hovers!

It has been a lovely day again today, with wall to wall sunshine! - sadly I have been at work coughing, sneezing and feeling very sorry for myself :-( On the plus side tomorrow is the final day of term then I get 2 whole weeks off - yay!! 
After work I went out for a breath of fresh air and ended up at the local country park...I only really wandered round the car park but found loads of insects including several queen wasps, I wonder if this bodes badly for next autumn? 
This hover fly (I am not sure of the species) was enjoying some pollen on the bright line green Euphorbia - it is great to see the hovers flying again!
