Do you see what I see?

I saw a nest with an egg and a feather left behind. But look again.
This was lying around on the cycle track and it is actually the dried up branches and roots of some plant with a little rock neatly wrapped up inside. Plus a feather.

Cyclone Debbie has completely bypassed us and headed across to the Bay of Plenty region in the North Island where the whole town of Edgcumbe has had to be evacuated. The Rangitaiki River is running at its highest ever peak and the stopbanks have broken. Wellington has had heavy rain and now it is Kaikoura and Canterburys turn. There will be lots of places like Auckland  and many other smaller towns that are experiencing a months rainfall falling over a couple of days.
Debbie still being felt in Australia too. Once again we have had the best of the weather this week.
