Railway concrete fencepost

A day in the sunshine at Cranbrook Road on the Kent and East Sussex Railway opening and shutting the level crossing gates to allow the passage of trains up and down the line.

I've written many times about a day in the crossing keeper's hut and today was just the same. Took my ukulele to practice where nobody could hear me.

I've also taken many photos from this location, usually of a train storing up the bank, like the one on Sunday. This time I looked elsewhere and saw this old concrete fence post with wires and lichens and thought, Wild Wednesday, it's about time I had a go.
