Our Shining Star

It was our niece's funeral today and as these things go I have to say it was a truly remarkable experience.

"A Celebration Of Life" is often bandied about - but today we felt it was really just that. She touched so many people's lives and a turnout of approximately 450 souls to send her off was a testament to a remarkable woman. Standing room only inside and a large group outside with a PA relay.

Inevitably a few tears, but a lot of laughter too.

Goodnight Nicky, you will be sadly missed.
