A Sound Of Thunder

By Ray Bradbury.

As rain was forecast, and it did start to fall around eleven o'clock, I took the dog for an early walk. We went into the forest and there are signs that autumn is around the corner. Lots of berries on the trees, foliage turning various shades of brown and leaves falling onto paths.

This little path has been built over a particularly wet patch of ground. It alway reminds me of the Ray Bradbury short story about time travel. The travellers must remain on the levitating path as any living thing trampled on and killed could change the course of history.

Silly dog kept jumping off the path. I did get one photo mid leap which made me laugh but it was a little too fuzzy.

Got back home and Alex Salmond is still First Minister of Scotland. Oh well, take it she didn't change the course of history!
