Daffodils at dusk

Another long day at the keyboard writing C++. It has been a long time and much has changed, but loads remain the same.

I head into Edinburgh to deliver workbooks to Tracey and go to the BCS monthly meeting. It's a blatant sales pitch from a security tool vendor, with a good audience, probably pulled by the superfluous inclusion of 'machine learning' in the title. Oh well.

An acquaintance from West Linton, Emma, who works at the parliament was also there. I gave her a lift back, via Straiton for another dose of frozen rats. I take the moor road - a beautiful sunset over the Pentlands.

Back home, Ferdi is round. I do a bit more work while the boys party, getting to bed way too late.
