The Edge of the Wold

Arnside Tower & Farm

I left the house for the walk up the Knott without the camera yesterday morning, then thought better of it when I saw wispy mist on the lower lying ground.

This was taken from the descent route just as the mist was oozing down the valley away from the Tower.  The farm was in sunshine while the Tower was still shaded.  The farm often looks its best when wreathed in mist, which obscures the modern sheds and outbuildings.  They are just out of shot in this view.

A beautiful morning, a much better day for me. There has been generally positive news from the latest scans and tests.  Thank you for the kind comments, support and concern expressed on the previous day's blip.  It's still one day at a time, needlework once a week, a daily walk over the Knott (158th consecutive day today), lots of vitamins and a blameless life.  All this and more is keeping everything stable despite a hiccup this last week.

Back blipped on 7 April 2017.
