Flight.....

We woke to cloud and looks like we'll end the day in cloud but the middle was bright, good for flying as these two were.

Their aircraft is an Ultralight trike, a type of powered hang glider where flight is controlled by weight-shift. They have a fabric flex-wing from which is suspended a tricycle fuselage pod driven by a pusher propeller. The pod accommodates either a solo pilot, or a pilot and single passenger. Trikes are affordable, accessible and make for exciting flying, they've been popular since the 1980s.

Good to see they have their safety gear on. In my extra all the lines can be seen attaching the wing to the fuselage. I've not been in one but might be keen to give it a go, I wonder if you would be? :)

After some time at the airfield it was home and into the garden which looks like a shambles after our week of rain. My plants are drooping, some look as though a cat has slept in the middle of them and there were lots of cabbage tree leaves to pick up. With more bad weather forecasted for middle of next week it's good to make use of a nice day.

Saturday was an awesome day to be out and about with a little bit of gardening thrown in :)
