Coire Loch Kander & Lochnagar

Fabulous day, had to be up the hills.
Parked north of Glenshee and ascended to the plateau via the old Monega Road, then headed round to go up Cairn of Claise (1st extra) , detour to Coire Loch Kander and then up Carn an Tuirc (2nd extra looking back up).
Sun all day, wonderful views in all directions and fairly dry underfoot. I love the great feeling of space when you're up on the plateau but there's still plenty of interest.
Saw a pair of ptarmigan, some grouse, possibly and eagle and a mountain hare.
Passed 34 people and 5 dogs going the other way round - all except one in less than 2 miles.
