Postbox and Dreadnought

An early start ferrying the worker to the station before I settled to waste time, mostly. Though I did fix the VHF aerial on the boat. Off to Leith to pay in cheques for the club, before a scamper round the district on the bike including a visit to the photogenic Dreadnought. The barman, seen here having a fag outside (it wasn’t busy) showed me a collection of photos of the Halfway house (as it was once) taken by a Jim Lawrie who’s taken photos of Edinburgh pubs for a few decades. There’s a fine hobby. I may consider it.
Later up to the Beer Kitchen for a meet up with P&K and then another call into the Traverse - The Girl in the Machine. A sort of dystopian future thing where a wearable clever gizmo that takes over your life and calms you down and relaxes you, evolves into something that gives you the choice to give up life altogether and live forever in a virtual world. Interesting if not exactly original sez I, but the actors shouted semi-hysterically the whole time and then the long spaces…. Tiresome.
