Daffodil

I am very lucky that my morning commute has lots of variety, and today these daffodils caught my eye, glowing in the sunlight.

I think they are very pretty, but I feel like when I was younger daffodils always had yellow petals.  Now this variety seems more common, but I will always prefer the yellow ones.

UPDATE: Apparently this is a Narcissus not a Daffodil. So my grumble is updated to complaining about the increasing prevelance of Narcissus over Daffodils.
