Gold Coast 2018

The Commonwealth Games take place next year on the Gold Coast, Australia - picking up the mantle from the amazing Games in Glasgow 2014.

During the Glasgow games we supported volunteers across Scotland to help create a lasting legacy for the Games - including an awesomely active group in Shetland.

That group was successful in getting funding to travel to Australia to share their work with those involved in CG2018 and it has been simply wonderful to follow their travels day by day on social media. Today they very kindly sent me this pic - with the Gold Coast 2018 Countdown Clock - to feature as my Blip!

So proud of them - what a life changing adventure!
