Hat-trick

I hadn't intended to blip my third dragonfly in three days but this Southern Hawker gave me one shot at capturing him - and I took it! You can appreciate the wing detail better by seeing the larger version. Set off to do a fungi macro photoshoot but as it was a bit windy and cool to start with, it turned into a leisurely walk. We saw quite a few dragonflies, including common hawkers and black darters, butterflies included peacock, small white, gatekeeper, a very nice small tortoiseshell and plenty of speckled woods.
We also saw quite a few fungi including a few nice eatables.
The day was slightly marred by my reversing the car into a tree trunk on the way out of the car park. Oh well!
