A Day Worth Recording

The landscapers are coming again today.  The primary task is to level a path and create a shrub bed, but a secondary one is to restore this path to its original width.  

I recovered this path to the extent you see here a couple of years ago but was always conscious that the 'archaeology' of the contours of the ground suggested it was originally a couple of feet wider.  As the path levelling elsewhere needs a source of soil, here was a prime source.
