Family Fun

Our last day celebrating with the family in Edinburgh.  It was decided that a day at the seaside was in order.   The Sheffield part of the tribe live quite away from the sea and Clickychick having grown up by the sea is alway keen to be beside the sea.

The result was a trip to Portobello.   I found it quite a surprise I was expecting a stony or muddy beach, what I found was a very clean sandy beach.  We were lucky with the weather bright sun and out of the breeze lovely and warm.

We did all the things you would expect of a family having a day by the seaside.   The shot is of the girls plucking up courage to go for a paddle.  ArcaneSpark to the left and Katkatkat to the right.   The others from left to right are S (Arcane's husband) E & D (Arcane's kids) followed by G Katkatkat's partner.

Mid afternoon we headed back to Kat's flat as G had to go to work and then  off on the road home.   What a great weekend!  Thank you girls for all the planning you put into giving us a wonderful weekend.
