Comeback

Each year when we go to Whitby, I teach myself a new game that I've never played before.  A couple of years back it was Cribbage, and it has stuck with me and the Jnrs as the luck element makes it a level playing field.

We are off to Whitby in a few days (I am thinking Backgammon for this year's choice) and so Cribbage has resurfaced over the last few days.  

Jnr Snr was thrashing me throughout the game this morning, but a rousing comeback on the home stretch saw me take the lead at the final stage where I won by a single point.  

I celebrated like this around downstairs and she went upstairs in a mood.

Not that we take it seriously or anything.....
