Moffatt toffee shop

This afternoon we loaded the tandem onto the roof of the car and drove south to Dumfries and Galloway for the start of our holiday. We stopped for a break in Moffatt and took a wander along the High Street. This was our favourite shop. Purchases were made.

The weather was so lovely at Chipperkyle this afternoon that we were able to enjoy tea and cake in the garden on arrival.

Mr hazelh and I played Scrabble before dinner. I beat him by 15 points.
