Letting go

This is as far as I know the oldest building in the village. It's grade 2 listed I think and in serious need of repair. It's nice to watch the birds flying in and out, building their nests. I hope if repairs do come it's not sanitised completely, watching the natural course of time and the ensuing changes add to a sense of continuity. Clocks can't be turned back.
Choir was interesting tonight. I don't think many of us really coped with the some of the pieces. Even the accompanist said his mind was elsewhere as he thumped out the parts for the fourth time! I've been to the Les Dawson school of singing so I recognise when it's not going well!
