New for old

It's seems that the amount of dog walking has led to the total failure of one of our dog leads! 5 or 6 walks a day for 10 years and the internal spring which rewinds has finally gone leaving it trailing on the ground as we walk. Not good. A trip to the pet shop resulted in smart new leads all round as the other lead for the pup could also fail with it being even older. It's like the tyres on the car. Wouldn't take chances with them and it's the same for the dog. It's the only thing separating them form the traffic. Fastest £50 quid I've spent!
And so a walk with new leads past the farm amid bright sunshine, leaves cracking and flowers bursting into bloom.

I like the way the bright yellow bouncing daffodils contrast sharply with the green doors and harsh road surface.
