Blue tit on the branch

This little blue tit was chirping way lichen branch. We have quite a few and they seem to be in several of the boxes. I watched a blackbird gathering moss from the edge of the pond so it must be nesting nearby. The crows have been taking large twigs up to their nest from last year. I've also seen a pair of grey wagtails down in the burn and the woodpecker is still drumming away.
Just before we left to go out tonight a fantastic rainbow crossed the sky. It's been a day of sunshine and showers and down to just above 4 degrees tonight.
We went to see Newton Faulkner and Amy Macdonald at The Ironworks, our local music venue. Really good , just wish people would listen to the music though instead of talking all the way through.
A beautiful full moon on the way home reflecting it's light on the Firth.
