Spent the evening with R, a fellow guitar maker & his partner A.

Champagne - A had just come back from there with a boot full of bottles.

Fresh grilled salmon with fennel, courgettes, boiled tatties & salad - une délice!

R's a Scot & a bit of a fanatic about  the provenance of his salmon... We have some excellent fishmongers in Bruxelles!

A's French - she's PA to one of the highest flyers in the €u - one very funky woman & a fellow whisky nerd - she bought this neon Rolling Stones logo at auction over the telephone & it seems to go well in their weird apartment.

Suddenly it was 01h30 & I taxied home in a goodwill haze
