Party

Today I worked with Cath in Burnley library where she and another artist have been holding workshops celebrating the library and the work it does in the community. This was a garden party with loads of cake and drinks and an exhibition of the pieces that were produced during course of the summer. One of the most important aspects of this project has been the blog which Cath has written about her project.

Cath and I worked solidly for over four hours setting up for the Garden Party, Exhibition and Drop in workshops and it was a great success. Everybody was welcome to join in the party and workshops. there was hat making, temporary mosaics, stone sculptures, long-stick drawing and the final act hiding quotes and sayings in random books.
