Even...

With the pox, she's such a beautiful little beasty. We had a rough night. She was up at 10, 12 and for good at 4. She has a lot more spots than yesterday and is pretty miserable. She was in a bicarb and oat bath by 5am. She was grumpy, sore and knackered. I really did feel for her. It's certainly not the worst case of chicken pox, but she has them in almost every place it's miserable to have them. Including her mouth which is upsetting her as a musician, and some beasts on her head which isn't fun when you have waist length hair.

We watched Bedtime Stories, Curious George, Trolls, Harry Potter and the philosophers stone and half of Sound of Music today. She didn't get out of jammies all day- she couldn't bring herself to wear clothes. She did sit in the car in her blanket as I went for lotions & potions. Other than laying and snuggling mama & watching movies, the only reason she moved was to get up and do a few pages of theory which she enjoyed. Until in a split second U-turn she decided it wasn't fun anymore. She had a lovely time at the piano and did very well at clarinet given she has 3 or 4 pox in her mouth.

The two proper smiles of the day came when I surprised her with Trolls on DVD and when B sent her a super lovely message. She's missing B a lot and can't wait for Wednesday when we see.

I put her back in the oats & bicarb bath but she got weirdly cross with it and didn't stay in that long. We settled her down in her bed and with some cuddles it wasn't too long before she gave in to sleep in the end. She has already been awake crying though.
