Celebrating with a Tui

I have finally arrived at the grand total of 1000 blips. It seemed to be a long time coming.

I was lucky to be able to capture a tui image today.  It felt very appropriate as my favourite photographic subjects are birds and tuis are the beautiful songbirds I feed and who entertain me daily.

Apart from getting to know some very nice people, the thing I have gained most over these 1000 blips is confidence. Confidence with the camera, confidence in the editing and confidence in my choices of image to blip.

Thanks to all who have shared their knowledge and given encouragement.  And, thanks to Blipmate who has added another layer of fun to the Blip journey.
