What a difference a day makes . . .

Expansive crescent
Stretching into the distance
Warm sun blue waves lap

Yesterday I was ready for a week of autumn blips and today the sun shines and it's back to shorts and tee shirts.  We went for a family walk from Tahunanui Beach along Rocks Rd to the yacht club and return. They have information boards explaining the history of the road and sea wall building.  I especially liked this sentence : Rocks road and Seawall were blasted into being by convict labour from 1891 -1899.
