Pauline and I set off on our own this morning, leaving our menfolk reading the papers. We visited the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, newly opened after its winter closing. It was the most beautiful wild spring garden abounding with bluebells and many other wild flowers. A stream ran through the middle. Around every corner we found a new sculpture as part of their exhibition, all for sale at prices we couldn't even dream of! In the centre of the garden was a little black and white cottage, see extra. I took a closeup of one of the glass balls and you can see a clear upside down image of the garden in it. (Extra) One sculpture was made from bicycle bells, another extra.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll through this magical Spring garden
We met our husbands for a pub lunch after which they went back to watch sport on tv and we went to the pretty village of Shere, busy on this bank holiday weekend.
